"Mental Health Matters"-a student pov
#CHANGINGWORLD
Today we
live in a changing and challenging world. But, to face these changes and
challenges at least a person must be alive, right? Both physically and
mentally. So, what is “Mental Health”? The internet says, “A person’s condition
with regard to their psychological and emotional well-being.” Who is going to accept this definition Duh?
Every one of us may have heard the well-known proverbs “Mental Health
Matters” and “Be Kind to Your Mind” which usually describe the
well-being of our emotional conditions.
But the thing is when we hear the word
“Mental Health” two absolute words strike our mind.
- Depression
- Anxiety
Nah! These are not the whole “Mental Health”. These are just a part of
it.
To extend this weirdo article in a brief manner, I would like to discuss the 3-3-3 Characteristic Rule of Mental Health which I personally made for my beloved readers.
1. 1. The 3 POSITIVE characteristics
·
Setting Goals
When you think about the
purpose of your living, do remember “SET GOALS” not for others but for
yourself, to increase your self-esteem. No matter how much you fight, or what
other people think of you, just work for yourself. Be punctual and maintain
consistency towards your goals.
·
DON’T always BLAME YOURSELF
This doesn’t mean you should
blame others for everything. There are a few things which you must work on
either to improve or just leave. It’s your way and your decision to move on
further.
·
Peer Pressure
Well, you may wonder why
the negative word “Pressure” is in the positive one. Well, to the Kota Factory
viewers as Jeetu Bhaiyya said, “It’s okay to have peer pressure and stress at
times.” This is true! Because that’s how we do our work on time. That’s how we
do not face any problems regarding closing deadlines of any project.
2. 2. The 3 NEGATIVE characteristics
·
Excessive fears or worries
There are few people who
fear everything, fear failure, fear for starting any kind of work. That is not
a good way to lead your life. Instead, we should be the ones with open eyes and
should move a step forward to face that fear.
·
Significant tiredness, having low energy
When we work hard and
hard there are a good number of chances to “doesn’t” take care about our
physical health. Mental health doesn’t only mean refreshing our brains,
meditation and blah blah! But, it is also about taking care of our physical
health too. Building over stress makes our physical attires low.
·
A person destroys another person by depressing or throwing them into an
anxious place
Do you know? Who is a
person’s enemy? Of course, the other person. LOL. But, it’s the bitter truth.
We are living in the world where people know more about the other people rather
than one’s self. People judge by just seeing them with many boys/girls assuming
that he/she is a playboy/girl. But, that’s not the thing, right? 60 out of 100 per
cent choose the path of suicidal attempts, few become drug addicts and very few
of them become Psychopaths too, which is highly dangerous.
Here are the final
3 Solution Characteristic Factors known as the R-F-F rule.
1. REACT
When the other person
discriminates against us, it is completely our responsibility to become a
little or more aggressive and React to it. We should be the ones to take the
initial step to solve any clumsy riddle.
2. FORGIVE
There’s a saying “When
someone genuinely seeks forgiveness with or without any regret, it is our
responsibility to forgive them even” Because, there are few who may change for
a reason and there are few who don’t want to. So, for such people, we should leave
them on their way.
3. FORGET
No matter what, No
matter how deep down you get anxious/depressed, just Forget the nightmares
which made you traumatized and stop daydreaming, just go with the flow.
Because, once my friend said “SOMETHING IS WAITING FOR YOU, BIGGER THAN THAT”
I hope you felt good
after reading this article. Hope these words work for you.
Thank you.
